The organization I chose to discuss is National Youth Leadership Council. National Youth Leadership Council is suppose go be a nonprofit organization, which is located in some part of Minnesota that promotes service-learning in schools and communities in many areas across the U.S. It was founded in 1983 by a guy by the name of Dr. J. Kielsmeier, NYLC is the host of the annual National Service Learning Conference. NYLC is an international leader in service learning and have impact on more than 400,000 youth and also adults all over the world each year. I feel like this organization not only makes it better for youth but also makes more opportunities the youth.
Also, The National Youth Leadership Council is the leading force in the development and advancement of youth civic engagement through service learning. We integrate service learning inti the fabric of P-16 education, there by engaging youth, educators, and communities, especially focusing where educational disparities are prevalent. NYLC increases student learning abilities also helps increases students in school with their grades and learning abilities. NYLC offers variety of paths to reach service learning, and even online content, customized professional development, tools, and variety of thing that can benefit the youth. From my point of view NYLC program/organization are expiring the young individuals and also changing the word a little bit at a time.

The challenges students might have engaging with the unique populations served by the organization is time commitment, ensuring positivity among the community, also ensuring student learning.
Students may overcome these issues by when these challenges are met and overcome, community engaged teaching allows students, faculty, and communities to experience profound growth. The university supports students in overcoming these challenges by improving group effectiveness and decision making.
