The Cold War
The cold war was the time where there was increased tension and competition for global influence between the United States and USSR after the end of World War II. Tension was increasing after the World War II when USA had dropped the atom bomb in Japan and USSR forces took over the Eastern Europe. The war between these two forces were called cold war because they did not attack each other directly but they fought a proxy wars to fulfill their beliefs such as USSR spreading communism globally and USA promoting dollar and stopping communism to spread through out the world (Khan Academy , 2018 ).
The responsible party for starting the cold war
During the Second World War, United States and USSR were allied party and fighting together against German’s Adolf Hitler axis party. The allied party was victorious and won the World War II. After the end of the Second World War, USSR was possessive and aggressive about their win and they believed in communism. They wanted to spread communism around the world. The responsible party for starting the cold war was USSR. The leader of USSR, Joseph Stallion and his successor was responsible for the outbreak of the cold war because of the military expansion and spreading communism around the poor countries that were devastated by the war. By this reason tension was raised so the Unites States also formed a group to defend against the USSR. USA was a capitalist country and they did not like to see communism to spread around the world. United states started to fund the poor countries to fight back against USSR but their main motive was to stop spreading communism around the world (Hart , 1986).

The main reason for Cold War to never turn hot
After the Second World War, the world was in serious crisis. The Second World War resulted in separation of Europe. The Western Europe was influenced by USA and capitalism whereas the Eastern Europe was influenced by USSR and communism. The race between these two parties resulted in many conflicts and proxy war where there was a chance of the World War III but this war never happened. This cold war never turned hot. During the Second World War, USA used their nuclear weapon and dropped atom bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This bomb was so powerful and completely devastated the place where the bomb was dropped. The nuclear bomb frightened people. Both of the parties had nuclear weapon as their defense but they never used against each other because it was risky and the nuclear weapon could wipe out the entire humanity. United Nation is also responsible for cold war to never turn hot because United Nations helps these two countries to maintain peace and it is the mediator between these two countries to negotiate
