The cinema is a public place where people can watch movies, relax and have a good time. It occupies a very important place in modern life. Cinema is a source of entertainment which helps us to escape from the reality for a while, forget about the worries and anxieties of life. Traditionally a movie theater consists of a single auditorium with rows of comfortable seats, as well as a foyer area containing a box office for buying tickets. Movie theaters also often have a stand for buying snacks and drinks. Other features included are film posters, arcade games and washrooms. As waiting in the line one may hear people talking about the movie that they are about to see. An audience gets excited as soon as it enters the movie theatre. When seated, the softness of the chair relaxes the body. One can hear the sound of laughter and talk that seems to float throughout the theater. The sweet taste of a cold soda, the satisfying crunch of popcorn, the smell of delicious chocolate and other snacks in the air and the movie itself are just a few of the things that will manipulate one’s senses. Sitting in the theater, waiting for the beginning of the film, you can see ads or trailers of other films. When trailers and advertisements end, the lights go off and people turn off their phones while preparing for the film. As the movie begins some may eat buttery popcorn, some may become thirsty and drink soda or water. As the movie ends, the lights come back on and people begin to leave the theater. Some theaters may be more attractive than others, but in the end, these are all places for people who come together and enjoy their rest.
