The annealed NbS2 shows all peaks which exist in 3R-NbS2. But in all peaks shift and broadening is exits and there is a peak is existing at 270 cm?1 which is a sing of 2H-NbS2. In case of annealed NbS2 the peaks like 386 shift to 379 and 286 to 275 which very close to 2H NbS2 bulk materials.34
It is found that the A1g peak shifted slightly to lower frequencies as the number of layers decreased, especially in the 1–8 layers range, while the E2g1 peak shifted up to higher frequencies. These Raman shifts are consistent with the predicted characteristics of thinned NbS2 layers. http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/jacs.7b05765 . The shift may be due to the weakened interaction induced by the defects generated by plasma.
