Then circus animals who receive all different levels of punishment, neglect and having limited access to food and water as to will them to perform. Circus animals are often beaten, shocked, kicked, or cruelly confined in order to train them to be obedient and do tricks. Routinely being whipped, beaten with long metal rods, shocked with electric prods, and struck with clubs. This abuse begins when they are babies, to break their spirits as they are taken away from their mother to be chained or tied up to 23 hours per day. Then the inhumanely treatment of the animals being used for medical experiments. These animals are subjected to painful and distressing procedures. They are denied socialization with humans or any other animals with no chance of ever seeing day light. They are confined to filthy buildings that are infested with mice and flies. They are living in inadequate housing where animals are without appropriate bedding or a dry, flat area to rest. These poor animals are exposed to harmful levels of gasses due to the build-up of urine and feces behind their cages and then end of the study the animals are killed
